Alright, I know we’ve seen the posts on AZstuck about these “Homestuck Hunters” but I decided to screen shot a good amount of the posts as proof (in case we need in for any reason).

But honestly, these posts sicken me and scare me to death. Part of it all seems in fun to them, but it’s still scary. We are being threatened with stickers and silly string that could ruin and stain our cosplays that we’ve all worked so hard on.

I’m scared as are a lot of us who don’t know what to do. Please, homestucks at Phoenix Comicon, stick together in a group so that it’ll be safer for all of us. We need to keep our eyes open and be aware of what is happening around us.

They’re even saying that they’ll move on to another fandom when they are done with us.

Please spread this around and warn other homestucks. We are trying to get them to stop but just in case, please be careful. They are taking this way too seriously.

Has anyone local contacted the convention security? If these people are serious about these threats, you can alert the convention ahead of time, so  they will be on the lookout for them. Thus, if anyone is caught trying anything, ESPECIALLY assaulting a cosplayer, they can be thrown out or arrested. If you haven’t already, contact the convention! Seriously! The more messages they get about this, the more serious they will understand that it is. Paid attendees are paid attendees, and if they injure anyone in their “fun and games,” it’s assault, which in most states is a FELONY.

However, if you do go to the convention, I urge you to stay in a group and keep your cell phones on you at all times. This is already con safety basics, but if they are serious on their threats, I doubt they will go after larger groups, and seek out anyone who happens to be alone. Even if you see someone you don’t know by themselves, or you’re not IN a Homestuck cosplay, and see a homestuck by themselves, offer to walk with them.

But seriously, if you have tried and failed with messaging them to calm them down, warn the convention—and if they DO threaten ANY PHYSICAL VIOLENCE, you can call the police.

Holy shit wow. Signal boost the fuck out of this. If you know this person or can find the group, definitely report it. Hate groups are not permitted on Facebook and the persons responsible can be reported to law enforcement by Facebook staff. Everyone going to this con PLEASE be careful!
