Try lighting some candles, playing some soft music, and taking a bath. Then talk. Vent. Sigh. Cry. Curse. Just get it out. Every stressful feeling. Every insignificant detail. Your fears. Your ambitions. The things that keep you tossing and turning at night.
Be vulnerable and open and honest. To yourself. To your lover slash therapist. Tell them things you used to tell them before life got too busy. You think they’re interesting. You think they’re beautiful. You think they’re talented. And you are so proud to be with them.
Laugh and let the days worries flush down the drain with the days dirt.
