221bakerstreet-london:

I’d like to think it’s Winnie the Pooh.

Because a hundred acres is such a grand adventure.

and there is a rabbit, which sometimes reminds him of his housekeeper

An Owl, whose head is so far in the sky that no one cares to hear him hoot…That owl reminds him of his brother.

There is a tiger, who calls himself a tigger - something about extra ‘grr’, who is always looking for trouble and adventure and Sherlock smiles fondly of his memories with the only woman there ever was.

A little kangaroo, though a bit naive, is filled with compassion, and an unyielding personality that will always bounce back…She always did count, even though she was often left behind. Sherlock is quite fond of little roo.

The little piglet reminds him of a certain detective inspector, who is brave enough, and smart enough on his own right, but still prefers to brave the world at the side of a bear. Even if he didn’t need the bear, Sherlock imagines he’d stick around, fortunate for the bear.

Then there is that idiot, bumbling excuse for a bear, who finds himself in perpetual search of honey. Willing to go to any length to achieve that goal (Even facing a Heffalump) but extremely lazy when it concerned anything else. The bear was particularly clever in some instances, but astonishingly ignorant in others. Sherlock couldn’t comprehend a universe in which the most important character.

The most human of them all, Christopher Robin, valued his friendship with the bear the most.

Steadfast and certain, always genuinely sincere in kindness, empathy, and reliability. Who would follow his friends into their adventures, and always get everyone out of trouble when the chase for honey became a bit not good. He would mend stitches and fix tails, Christopher Robin was a gem, clever, and funny, and always knew just what to say to make anything better.

and he was that idiot bear’s most important friend.

Sherlock’s warm smile shares an agreement for once with the idiot bear when he childishly tells Christopher Robin that if his friend were to live one hundred years,  then He would want to live one hundred years, minus one day so that he would never have to live without him.

A sentence to which, Christopher robin has the most perfect reply.

If ever there is tomorrow when we can’t be together… keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.”
