- 1 in 6 women have experienced, or are experiencing an act of gender violence.

I like it, I also suggest you look up the event and help fight violence against female identified people and others who face this type of abuse.
I got really into this campaign, because I’m against domestic violence and rape of all types against all people; However, i’m beginning to feel that walk a mile is problematic because it wont let women walk in mens shoes, even though they have many similar experiences. I think i’m going to make another poster promoting SAFER students active for ending rape. Which promotes more of the gender equality that I am drawn to. I appreciate walk a mile for the recognition it achieved, however it promotes gender display roles in a detrimental way as far as rape culture is concerned.
