I’m sure you all have seen this already but it just irritates the hell out of me.
First off- this is a freaking piece of art. In my home state. The spoonbridge and cherry itself means something on it’s own. You have no fucking right to spray your SHIT all over someone else’s hard work.
Second off- you Kony people are starting to get on my nerves. Kony isn’t even the issue anymore. He’s been mostly out of the picture for a while, and Obama supposedly sent people to get on that shit last fall. The real issue right now is the Ugandan government. Everyone keeps saying that putting posters up and wearing t-shirts won’t help. It really won’t help if your pointing your finger at the smaller part of a larger problem.
I generally try to stay out of political issues just because I don’t like the conflict, but this was just the straw that broke the camel’s back.
I’ll get off my soapbox now, and I’m not going to argue with anyone so don’t even try.
