Below the cut, I’ll explore a comparison of, Andrea Pozzo’s,Triumph of Sant’ Ignazio of Loyola, (1691-94)and Contemporary Advertisement Adidas Football Fresco by Felix Reidenbach (2006). The two pieces discussed in juxtaposition to one another will work to explore the relevance of, art history in contemporary advertising, and the cultural significance of visual appropriation of art.
